Phoenix hold a Waste carrier Licence.

Many cabling companies do not realise that they may need to hold a Certificate of Registration with the Environment Agency.

Anyone transporting controlled waste, which includes scrap metal, needs to have a Waste Carrier License, which is issued by the Environment Agency. Failure to produce a valid Waste Carrier License could result in a prosecution by magistrates resulting in up to six-months in prison and also a fine of up to £50,000; or a prosecution at Crown Court could result in five years in prison and an unlimited fine.
