Independent Certification/Network Health Checks and Audits

A network health check service is available; using the latest diagnostic equipment to ensure your network is performing as expected. Checks can be performed for network bottlenecks, errors and to validate existing cabling systems. We can also check Category 5e and 6 system conformances, to ensure that they are performing to international standards (ISO/IEC 11801 and EIA/TIA568A) and we can perform tests to ensure your network will support Gigabit Ethernet applications.

Documentation

Following completion of installations, full documentation packs are prepared detailing scope of works, network topology type, certified test results of each cabling segment, warranty information, labeling schedules and most importantly the comprehensive system layout diagrams, comprising of the location of cable runs, work area panels and racks/cabinets

Maintenance and life cycle Support

We provide maintenance with guaranteed response times. Our vast engineering expertise enables us to react quickly to sudden network problems. Where required, Phoenix can provide continuous backup to ensure your business critical systems perform without problems.

Testing Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD)

Phoenix use the field portable CMA5000 OTDR/ Chromatic Dispersion (OTDR/CD) measurement system for PMD testing that can evaluate chromatic dispersion on individual fibre links. A full PMD footprint and set of detailed results can prove essential towards future allocation of circuits according to a fibre individual PMD value. Especially in a situation where there is no information about the fibre installed along a particular route. Phoenix can then provide the customer with the PMD information required before any data rate issues arise.
